    Our mission is to educate a diverse student population to further succeed in college, career, and life through the access of dual enrollment in a relevant, rigorous, and innovative course of secondary curriculum and a tuition-free college course of study with the expectation of obtaining an Associate of Arts Degree or Associate of Science Degree. 

    Here is a glance at some of our accomplishments:

    • Grade A scores in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2022 on the North Carolina School Report Card
    • In 2017, 2018, and 2019, U.S. News and World Report listed Vance Co. Early College H.S. as one of North Carolina's top high schools
    • 2017-18 Vance County School of the Year
    • 2022-23 National BETA School of MERIT

  • VCECHS DRIVER ED REGISTRATION

    If you are interested in taking a Driver's Ed at the Early College, please fill out the form below and turn it in at Vance County High School with your $45 participation fee. 

    As soon as we have enough students to sign up and pay, they will go ahead and schedule a class to be held in the afternoon on our campus.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school or the Driver's Ed department at Vance County High School.
