Volunteer with VCS

The Vance County Board of Education ("the board") recognizes the valuable contributions that school volunteers make to the learning process and the educational goals of the school system. Instructional programs are enhanced through the contributions of students' parents, community members and local businesses and industry. 

Thank you for considering donating your time, resources and expertise to support Vance County School students. We know that educating the whole child takes the entire community. In fact, we rely on families and community members to supplement the hard work of our teaching staff.   

*Volunteer applications for the upcoming school year will begin processing on July 1st. Please note that background checks are renewed annually, so all returning volunteers must complete a new application each year to remain eligible.
