Instructional Resources
Whether textbooks, library books, or digital educational applications, Vance County Schools is committed to providing high-quality, grade-appropriate resources for all students.
Instructional resources are selected in alignment to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study (NCSCoS) and the needs of the district's adopted curriculum in accordance to VCS Board Policy 3200. Use the subject area and grade level filters to explore the district-vetted instructional resources that are available in VCS.
To use any instructional resource with VCS students (paid or free, core or supplementary) that is not listed below, it must undergo the instructional resource review process and receive approval. This process includes a vetting committee which consists of members from the Curriculum & Instruction, Information Technology, Digital Learning and Innovation, and Federal Programs departments to ensure alignment with legal requirements and school system data privacy and security policies.
