• My name is Ms. Jamie McClain. I am the new counselor here at Early College. I transitioned here from Northern Vance High School. I am a resident of Raleigh, NC. I attended North Carolina Central University in Durham NC. I hold a Bachelors Degree in English and Master's Degree in Counseling. I look forward to meeting all the students at staff. My goal this year is to help students academically succeed, enhance their personal development, and explore career options.

When I am not in counselor mode, I enjoy fishing, volunteering at the animal shelter, pet sitting, and being with friends/family. My personal life philosophy is " Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about dancing in the rain." For this reason, I believe anything is possible, IF YOU BELIEVE!
