NC Governor's School Applications Now Available due Nov 23, 2020!
The Governor's School of North Carolina is a 5½-week summer residential program for gifted and talented high school students, integrating academic disciplines, the arts, and unique courses on each of two campuses. The curriculum focuses on the exploration of the most recent ideas and concepts in each discipline, and it does not involve credit, tests, or grades. Students are selected to attend through a competitive process after being nominated by their public school unit or non-public school. Please note you do not have to be identified as AIG to apply!

- Must reside in NC and attend an NC school
- Must be enrolled in 11th grade at the time of nomination & will not graduate in the summer of 2021.
- Exception- Choral Music, Instrumental Music, and Dance may be a 10th grader.

Preforming & Visual Art- Dance, Theater, Visual Arts, (Instrumental Music) oboe & bassoon, trumpet, French horn, trombone, euphonium, & tuba, percussion, violin, viola, cello, & bass, Flute/Piccolo, Clarinet, and Saxophone, (Choral Music) alto, tenor, bass, soprano 1&2
