My name is Athena Crumpler.  This is my fourth year teaching at Zeb Vance Elementary School.  I graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in The Arts.  I have taught second and first grade at Zeb Vance Elementary School.  I love creating an environment in my classroom in which all children feel comfortable to learn and grow.  In my free time I enjoy creating, reading, spending time with my husband, and our mini dachshund.  We are expecting our first child in March!
