Greetings All, ♥

My name is Kayla Perry and I am a Special Education Teacher here at Zeb Vance Elementary. I have a son Jeremiah who is my pride and joy. I teach students who have been diagnosed with the disability, Autism (AU). This is my 2nd full year of teaching and I LOVE IT. I am an alumni of Bennett College for Women in Greensboro, NC where I received my Bachelors of Science in Biology. I am currently working through my Masters in Special Education from the University of Phoenix. I love working with students with Special needs because the potential, hard work and determination seen by them is out of this world. My passion for teaching is because of my students. I work alongside two great assistants, Ms. Glover and Ms. Hicks and together we definitely get the job done. ♥

My name is Tamara Glover. I was born and raised in Henderson, NC. I am an EC Teacher Assistant here at Zeb Vance and I have been working with VCS for almost three years. I work alongside two lovely ladies, K. Perry and D. Hicks. I have loved every moment of this experience and we make a great team. I obtained my Associate's Degree in Medical Office Administration at Vance Granville Community College. Three months prior to graduating, I discovered my passion for working with Special Need Children while volunteering at Clarke Elementary. In the near future, I plan to obtain my degree in Education. I am currently expecting my first babygirl, Samara. I'm so excited and nervous to see what motherhood will bring.
