My name is Kelly Smith, and I was born and educated in Vance County.  I graduated from East Carolina University in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree and a concentration in reading. I have been a teacher at Aycock Elementary School since 2007.  I taught kindergarten for four years and currently teach first grade.  I participated in the Teacher Executive Institute during the 2012-2013 school year.
