My name is Cynthia Smith Bowen (Cyndi). Born in Raleigh, I am proud to be a native North Carolinian. Before beginning to teach kindergarten, I owned and operated The Learning Garden Child Care in Norlina, where I moved in 2008 to be near family.  Teaching young children is my passion.  Providing them with a nurturing, happy, stimulating environment in which to develop their greatest potential is my goal.  Children who enjoy coming to school will achieve academically.  Although my husband is a Carolina fan, I am teaching our son to share my avid support of North Carolina State University!
