Ms. Fullwood, Vicki-Ann
I am Miss Vicki-Ann Fullwood and I will be teaching Biology Honors this year. I am originally from the sunny island of Jamaica. I received my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Environmental Biology from the University of West Indies Mona in Jamaica. I am a trained teacher obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and Training from the Vocational Development and Training Institute. I am an educational technology leader, having earned a Master's Degree in Educational Technology from the American College of Education.
I have been teaching in the US for over 3 years. This is my 8th year of teaching and I have taught grades 7-11. During my teaching career, I have taught Biology, Human and Social Biology, Integrated Science, and Agricultural Science. Teaching the sciences is my passion and I aim to share that passion with my students as they are prepared to be lifelong learners and problem-solvers for the future.
Biology is a full year class that teaches students the concepts and principles of modern biology. Students learn about the scientific process, molecules and cells, cellular reproduction, and much more! Students develop laboratory skills that help them to pursue a career in biotechnology or in medical or health fields.
