Community Eligibility Provision

Dear Parent or Guardian,

Great news for you and your students!

We are pleased to inform you that Vance County Schools will be participating in a federal program called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). The CEP allows us to offer free breakfast and lunch to all enrolled students at no charge for the entire 2025-2026 school year. 

 

What this means for your household:

  • All students attending Vance County Schools will receive free breakfast and lunch daily.
  • No meal application is needed for your children to get free meals.
  • The CEP program replaces the usual application process for the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs.
  • This ensures all students have access to healthy meals, supporting academic success and reducing paperwork. 

Important Notes:

  • While meal applications aren't required, some families may need to submit a form for other programs.
