Project Lead is a leadership club where students are empowered to seek out and create opportunities to lead in the school and within the community. We have fun, find new friends, and make a difference. If you are looking for a club to join or an activity to lead, stop by room 1001 to sign up. For more information, please see Ms. Cusaac.

Parents, please acquaint yourself with the districts's attendance policy. Policy Code 4400 D.- If a student is absent from school for five or more days in a semester, the principal or a committee established by the principal shall consider whether the student’s grades should be reduced because of the absences. The principal or committee shall review other measures of academic achievement, the circumstances of the absences, the number of absences, and the extent to which the student completed missed work.
Class attendance and participation are critical elements of the educational process and may be taken into account in assessing academic achievement. Students are expected to be at school on time and to be present at the scheduled starting time for each class. Students who are excessively tardy to school or class may be suspended for up to two days for such offenses.
Amount Raised to Date: $1000.00
This year, Vance County High School will begin a campaign to help out and aid different causes that have touched the students at Vance County High School in some way. The school has named this campaign, the “VipersCare Campaign". The campaign will raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness in the month of October. If you would care to donate, please contact Ms. Pettaway at Vance County High School.
