The Robotics team at Vance County High School will be organizing a Smash Borthers Tournament for October 4th. All parties interested in participating should contact Mrs. Erin Williams in room 904 to register. Students interested in joining the Robotics Team should also contact Mrs. Williams.
Project Lead is a leadership club where students are empowered to seek out and create opportunities to lead in the school and within the community. Vance County Schools will maintain the early release day on September 18, 2019 for all schools, with the exception of Early College, in lieu of using it as a makeup day for Hurricane Dorian. Students will be released early and staff will continue with the scheduled professional development during the afternoon of September 18th.
The Vance County Board of Education approved the school calendars for the 2019-2020 school year during the board's March 11, meeting.

This year, Vance County High School will begin a campaign to help out and aid different causes that have touched the students at Vance County High School in some way. The school has named this campaign, the “VipersCare Campaign. The campaign will kick off on Monday, September 9th, with Lupus Awareness Week. Each day will be devoted to Lupus Awareness and the raising of contributions for the cause. All proceeds will go to the Duke Lupus Research Fund.
