L.B. Yancey Bulldogs Host Career Day and Expo
Prior to today, fifth grader Zoe had no idea what she wanted to be when she grew up; however, at the end of L.B. Yancey Elementary School’s Career Day and Expo, she knew and expressed with much enthusiasm that she wanted to become a photographer. The event was held on March 22, 2023, in the school’s gym. The theme of L.B. Yancey’s Career Day & Expo was “I Am Tomorrow”. This was the second staging of the event, which featured students dressing up as doctors, chefs, police officers and more. Even staff members joined in, wearing different career outfits. Parents were invited to join in on the festivities along with their children. Last year’s Career Day was held virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions.
