Re-Entry Information and Graphics
UPDATED INFORMATION 2/24/21
As we continue preparing for our return to face-to-face interactions with students, Vance County Schools is working diligently to ensure we are providing all of the necessary safety protocols for the health and wellness of our everyone, prior to student re-entry.
Re-Entry to Schools (February 16, 2021)
The Vance County Schools Board of Education voted at the February 8, 2021 meeting for our district to begin a staggered re-entry for our students, while also providing families the opportunity to remain virtual. Vance County Schools will begin offering a face-to-face option under Plan B for all students, PreK-13 beginning March 3, 2021. Students will be attending school in the building two days each week based upon their cohort assignment. All schools will operate remotely each Wednesday.
Students attending school face-to-face under Plan B will practice social distancing in the classrooms, buildings and on the buses. Additionally, students must wear a mask and have their temperature checked upon entering the building. All students will be required to bring their technology device with them on face-to-face instructional days.
Parents have a choice. If you wish for your child to continue with complete remote instruction, that option is available for all of our students. They will continue to login to their classes for live instruction with their teachers.
This commitment form allows each family to make a decision for their child. You must complete a form for each child. Please make sure to continue to the end of the form and select "Submit" to complete the process. We are asking all of our families to complete this process by Thursday, February 18 at 5pm.
NOTE: V3 students do not need to complete this form.
