HENDERSON, NC – AdVance Academy concluded our final graduation ceremony with 42 students receiving their diplomas. The in-person ceremony took place in the Wayne Adcock Auditorium located at the Center for Innovation on Friday, June 10th at 11:00am. Students were presented their diplomas by Principal Cyrus Waters and Superintendent Dr. Cindy Bennett. The ceremony was live streamed on the VCS website and aired live on WIZS.

Before presenting students with their diplomas, Principal Cyrus Waters encouraged the graduating class to reflect on their journey to graduation. He said, “think about the people that helped you, the tough times you had to overcome, the lessons learned, friendships gained and all of the events you had to endure to get to this point.”
